Thank you Mom and Dad

I am sitting here typing on my blog on my brand new computer!!! Thank you mom and dad...The family loves it!!! We have needed a computer for months now. Our old computer was OLD and wore out and had a virus that completely knocked it out. So for months it has been slow and very frustrating to work on. Love Ya

Well, our house hunt is still going on. We are constantly on the internet looking at houses. Also, we are still waiting on one appraiser to come and give their quote on our house. Please Please pray that all works out...We are nervous, but very estatic.

The children (I think) are getting more and more excited about the move. I am excited for them. I want them to be happy and comfortable.

Well, gotto go and do more house hunting.....................

Why Must We Wait???

You would think that we would know by now...It is now Sunday November 2nd and we still do not know if we are moving yet. Why is it taking so long????? They have been working on this for two months. Dennis' folder said October 27th was the date that everything would be finalized. It also mentioned that you have two months to get your house and etc...in order before the big move...well...we are at sixty days...let's get moving. Please pray that Monday will bring some news. I JUST WANT TO KNOW, THE WAITING IS HURTING!!! I will be happy with whatever news it may be. Heavenly Father will do what is best for our family, whether it be North Carolina or Georgia...

Please Please Please let it be over with soon............................................

LIFE

Life is too short to wake up in the morning with regrets, so LOVE the people who treat you right, PRAY for ones who don't, and believe that GOD allows everything to happen for a reason.

If you get a chance, take it. If it changes your life, LET IT. Heavenly Father never said it would be EASY, but he did promise it would be WORTH IT!!!

Girls Just Want To Scream!!!

Let me tell you...my ears still hurt from all of the screaming done at the movies on Friday when we went and saw High School Musical 3 Senior Prom. I never remember being that giddy. I remember liking movies stars and rock stars, but my goodness, everytime Troy Bolton (Zac Efron) came on screen, the girls went CRAZY. Dennis, Faith, Ruby and I just laughed and laughed. Davis thought the girls were crazy for acting that way. He just kept watching them. Matthew was like "girls do that to me all the time"! My heartbreaker!!!

What an experience...preteens and teens having a BLAST!!!

Girls Just Want To Have Fun...in this case-SCREAM!!!

Baptismal Day

WOW!!! I can not believe my baby was baptized today. It was a beautiful day for a beautiful girl. Matthew said a wonderful pray and Davis' talk on the Holy Ghost was fantastic. Brother Ruberson said the baptism talk and Kristen DeJong gave a prayer also. Amber was very very very pretty all in her white. Thanks again to Aunt Linda for making Amber's dress. Everyone loved her dress...they wanted to know where we got it because they wanted one...I said it was one of a kind. Thanks to all of the family and friends who attended. Amber really appreciates it. She was so excited that today was her own special day and that all of the attention was on her. Eileen Seaman made Amber a towel with her name and baptismal date embroidered on it, the Ritchie's gave her beautiful earrings, and of course we gave her scriptures and Granma gave her the scripture tote. Aunt Faith got her this really cute chocolate chip book.

Again, I can not believe my baby is baptismal age. My how time flies...............when you are having fun!!!

I love you Amber. You are the greatest little princess ever.

Pierced Ears

Today was the day that Amber has been waiting for awhile now. She had her ears pierced. Her daddy and I have told her for years that she could get her ears pierced right before her eighth birthday and her baptism. Well she has been reminding us for awhile now. The lady who pierced her ears was extremely nice. She took time with her first. Helped her pick out some beautiful earrings. She picked out light pink crystal heart shaped earrings. Amber was so excited. It hurt a little, but she said that it was worth it. For most of the day she admired them whenever she passed a mirror.

They sparkle just like her beautiful hazel eyes!!!

Matthew's First Deer

Well, Well, Well...in my previous blog I wrote about Matthew going deer hunting and telling him to go and get em...well guess what...Matthew went and got himself a deer!!! A nice size one also. His first deer was a buck, 5 points and around 140-150 pounds (estimated according to Uncle James). Matthew has been grining ear to ear. He is on cloud 9, no I take that back, he is on cloud 99. Matthew had a wonderful time with Will and Uncle James. He kept on hugging Uncle James and thanking him and Will. We have taken several pictures. When I can get over to Carol's house, I will see if she will help me put the pictures on the blogsite. Again, I can not believe Matthew got himself a deer on his first hunting trip.

Uncle James and Will-Yall are FANTASTIC teachers.

Baptism

I can not believe that Amber will be getting baptised next Saturday. My baby is growing up too fast for me...I went yesterday to a family members house so she could help me make Amber's baptismal dress. WOW-I never thought it could be so beautiful. Aunt Linda made the dress in like two hours also. I was so amazed. I helped a little. I am still learning how to sew, trust me, it is hard. I can sew a straight line, but actually putting the dress together is amazingly hard. Thank you Thank you Thank you Aunt Linda for taking the time out and helping me. I really appreciate you and your family. Yall are wonderful!!!!!!!

Yesterday I also dropped Matthew off at my Aunt Terri's house. He is going deer hunting for the first time ever in his life. He is going with my Uncle James and his son Will. Trust me when I say, Matthew is so EXCITED!!! I hope my baby has fun. He deserves this time. He has worked hard around the house just so he can go on this hunting trip. Go Get em Matthew....

Davis and Dennis are in Providence Canyon today on a boy scout trip. Providence Canyon is in Western Georgia almost in Alabama. It is a very fun cool place. I am sure they are having fun.

Amber is with my parents. She loves being there by herself, attention-she loves it. Have fun Amber.

So as you guessed...I had the day to myself...WONDERFUL...I vegged...cleaned...vegged...slept...cleaned...read...and wrote on my blog...

Remember...Life is precious, take it one day at a time and enjoy every minute of it!!!

Rough Times

It has been awhile since I have written on my blog. I apoligize for that. Matthew has been to the doctor numerous times since I last wrote. Thank you Jennifer for letting me know about Celiac disease. The doctor's have tested Matthew for everything under the sun except that one. I will call them up and tell them I want him tested for that. He has been tested for samolina, girarada and other intestinal infections. All negative, but still stomach pains.

Also, last week was a sad sad week. We attended a funeral for a classmate. Jesus Lara was 9 years old and he was in the 3rd grade here in our school. I had Jesus last year when I was the assistant in after school academics. He was a very handsome, funny and energetic little boy. He always had a smile on his face. He was riding his bicyle on a Saturday afternoon and was struck by a car. He lived for a day. Matthew has Jesus' older brother, Jordan, in his class and Amber has Jesus' younger brother, Javier, in her class. They also knew Jesus, due to me having him in after school academics with me. It is always so hard to attend a funeral, but with it being a child, that is so so so much harder. I feel for the parents, my heart goes out to them.

Yesterday is history, Tomorrow is a mystery...Today is a gift!!!

SICK Children

Why Why must we be sick...???...Why do I have a WEAK stomach...???...I am a mother for crying out loud...!!!...Well, Matthew and I had to leave school today because of sickness. We believe Matthew may be lactose intolerant so we are trying out different lactaid pills and we have even gone totally cold turkey from lactose products. Tomorrow we are going to the doctor offically to see if it is lactose intolerant or a milk allergy (yes, there is a difference). Matthew has always experienced violent episodes of stomach cramping and other stomach issues. We have had Matthew seen about in the past and the doctors told us at that time it was "GAS", well I believe (mother's intution) that it is something more serious than "GAS". Keep us in your prayers............

Part 1 "Ten Things Or People That I Love"

1. My family (you knew that was coming ). My family is the absolute BEST! They teach me so much everyday. There is never a dull day when you have children. They keep my life revolving. I am so glad that I will have my family for time and all eternity. I love them so so so much, words can not express the amount of feelings that are deep in my heart.

2. My church family. They are truly my brothers and sisters. I love them very much. It is so nice to be able to call them up and just have someone to talk to. They have unconditional love for me.

3. Freedom (need I say more)

4. The Gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I do not know what I would do without the gospel in my life. It is truly a blessing to know the fullness of the gospel.

5. My home. Home is everything. It is where I can be with my family.

6. Sight. I am truly thankful that I can see all of the beautiful things in this world. I can not imagine not seeing my children and husband.

7. Hearing. I love to hear my children and husband's voice. Communication is so wonderful. To be able to hear my family say they love me is priceless.

8. Speech. I love to talk-can you imagine me not having a voice???????

9. My Job. Yes- I am thankful. I have a great job. I get paid to play with five year olds. Who would not love to do that is my question????? They are so loving and fun.

10. Technology. How great is it to write down your thoughts and for others to respond. You can keep in touch with people from all over in a matter of minutes. Technology has came along way. It is grand.

Are we or are we not?????

Man....I tell ya...this waiting if for the birds. I wish we knew now. Are we moving to North Carolina is the big question? Dennis says that we should find out now hopefully at the end of September. Some of the other group leaders say, "it is a sure thing, Dennis is great, why would they not want him... One of Dennis' friend the other day asked me, Cassey-why are you not packed yet? I said, please tell me if you know something. He said, they were 99% sure. But there you go, that 1% can always come back and bite ya in the booty!!!

It is in Heavenly Father's hands, he will allow what needs to happen. We will do whatever comes our way...

Love,
The Family

Still Going Strong

Hey World! Just letting ya know we are still here...School has been back in session for two weeks now and we are just now starting to get back into the routine of things. We are so "not" morning people. Why can't school start at like noon? Oh well, everything is going great. The children are adjusting well to their new teachers and classmates. The home improvement projects are still going well. The blue bathroom has been painted, new fixtures and new lights installed. It looks great. Wow, it feels good to have the bathrooms done. Next, boys room...huge tackle. Again, keep us in your prayers that all goes well.............Thanks

I Survived!!!

Hello!Yes!I Survived!!!!!!!!! Yes, I got through the first few days of school! I love school, but
it can be quite challenging the first few days. Getting a routine set, establishing rules, learning the
childrens names and getting them home the right way is kind of stressful. But you know what, it is
worth it. The children are so loving, innocent and sweet. Again, yea yea yea yea, I made it.

My children also survived. Davis loves his new school (I do not-I do not get to see him whenever
I want). I am use to having all my children at school with me. Davis was very nervous but very
excited at the same time. Lets keep our fingers cross that he continues to have a positive experience.

Matthew and Amber as well did great. Matthew has a wonderful teacher and all of his friends are
with him. Amber also has a wonderful teacher. Amber has friends in her class, but she really
wanted Hannah with her. Hannah is her best friend and our neighbor. Since kindergarten they
have not yet been together. But at least they are neighbors and get so see each other on a regular
basis. Amber-all will be okay.

Well, keep us in your prayers that all still goes well next week and the next and the next.......

Free

Sorry, it has been a week since I have "blogged" concerning my life. This week has been crazy. Shopping for school supplies, clothes and shoes can be quite challenging. Every child has a different style. I have to go back to work tomorrow and I am not ready. I love being home with my children. So as you can imagine, this week will be another crazy week with open houses for each child and myself---keep me in your prayers.

Also, I was released today as Young Women's President. I have such mixed emotions. I asked to be released due to health and other problems. I will miss the calling, but I know that it is the right thing to do at this time. I would like just a little bit of "free"dom right now. It would be nice.

Be safe and pray always............

Home Improvement Is Hard!!!

Well, Dennis and I have decided to start doing some improvement on the house, boy...what was I thinking. I never realized
how hard it would be. We have painted the garage door. Changed the glass in the garage door. We are totally redoing our bathroom-painting, changing light fixtures and redoing all the hardware. We have much more ahead of us still. Like-painting
the hallway, painting the boys room, painting Amber's room, painting all of the interior doors, polishing the hard wood floors
and redoing the boys bathroom. MAN...I think this might just cure my interior design ideas. If you are an expert and are willing
to work for nothing, or need a service project, call us, we will put you to work.

Carol

Carol is AWESOME! Thank you

Hello World

Here we are trying to get this blogsite up and running. Not much success it seems. But, we'll keep trying.
